Welcome to Bridge EU
A new approach to human rights protection

Out now
Right to independent living: internal European Commission documents now public
Together with the Validity Foundation, we have used Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 to request and obtain internal documents from the European Commission. These documents provide valuable insights into how the Commission has addressed the independent living of persons with disabilities, including the role of EU funds in (undermining) this process.
Our work
We provide services to public, private entities and civil society organisations. These services include support to policy development, applying to EU funds projects, advocating for change, private sector partnerships, skills development.
We lead and participate in a wide range of activities and initiatives. Our activities include coalition building, advocacy campaigns, policy development, EU funds policy development and supporting grassroots initiatives.
We focus on common challenges that people face. Our themes include equal access to inclusive and non-segregated services, independent living and deinstitutionalisation, tackling & preventing education and housing segregation, etc.
We participate in a wide range of projects which bring together NGOs, experts, to address common human rights challenges.
